Project Process

Projects generally follow these stages:

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate project requirements
• Supplying logos, images, and content where necessary
• Reviewing work within a reasonable timeframe
• Providing feedback during development
• Ensuring they have rights to any content they provide

Payments

Payment terms will be communicated before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed:

• An advance payment may be required before development starts.
• Final delivery may occur after all agreed payments are received.

Revisions

Reasonable revisions are included as agreed during the project. Requests beyond the original scope may require additional charges.

Hosting & Maintenance

If hosting or maintenance services are purchased from us, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure the website remains operational. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability due to factors beyond our control, including:

• Force majeure events
• Cybersecurity incidents

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed:

• Clients own the final website content after full payment.
• TheWestCoastDigital retains ownership of proprietary tools, reusable components, templates, and internal development resources used to build the project.

Limitation of Liability

TheWestCoastDigital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Third-Party Services

Projects may integrate third-party platforms such as payment gateways, hosting providers, analytics tools, or APIs. We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or policy changes made by those third-party providers.

Website Content

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all content they provide complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project under mutually agreed conditions. Work completed up to the termination date may still be billable.
